Whilst discussing our sexual fantasies my GF has revealed that she has long held a desire to be tied up. Which is rather lucky cos I've long held a desire to tie someone up!

I quite like the idea of administering controlled pain - eg nipple clamps and perhaps some forced exhibitionism but spanking does nothing for me, nor her. She is a GF and lover with a kink for bondage but is not a slave, slut or bitch.

How do we go about our first steps outside the vanilla world. Do we need to think about safe words and first aid kits? I've read I shouldn't tie the bonds the first few times because it would be too much for her - is this really the case?. What about pre-play and post-play care for her - is this something I should be thinking about?

I would welcome advice from anyone who knows first hand where we are at at the moment. We want to have fun exploring this side of our lives but without being too extreme.

Tony,
take it slowly and explore together. Its always a good idea to have a first aid kit readily available, stuff go wrong sometimes even during vanilla sex. Read up on different bondage techniques and practice outside the bedroom. You don't want to crack her up with amateur hour, at a critical point.
