I'm just thinking as a doctor how do you avoid wanting to at least grab one or squeeze it in a situation like this? Thankfully they are (or at least should be) professionals.

This is probably just another reason I didn't go to med school. That and the irrisistable urge as a gynecologist to say "Open up and say ahhh" while performing vaginal examinations.

I must apologise for taking so long to respond to this, blame it on my travelling plans.
As in anything else, caution is advisable. I believe Nathan has given you some good advice.
I beg to differ slightly from Stu, as it is possible for external stimuli to send a cell's programming haywire, and start the mutation that could either end up as a benign lump or a cancerous growth.
I know of many patients that have developed brain cancer after a knock on the head.
Personally I am not in favour of breast binding, but I would still allow it if it was not very tight and not for longer than 15 minutes at a time. Increasing and trapping the blood in the breasts do make them more sensitive, but it is not necessary to go to extremes to accomplish that.
I have also found that it has a cumulative effect, your breasts become more sensitive as time goes on, so less and less is needed to get the same effect.
However, I am adding a link to an article on safety and would advise you to talk to your doctor. Embarrassing as it may be, it helps to have a professional keeping an eye on things and if he/she knows that you play hard, he would be able to advise you on warning signs in your body.

As far as I know there is nothing that connects trauma (being hit/squeezed/scratched) of the breasts to any form of cancer or other health risks of that nature. However having said that there could be risks involved depending on the medical condition of the person. For example someone who has blood clotting problems would want to be cautious about being cut or someone with weak bones about being hit.

In other words if you have or suspect a medical condition in which participatin in a certain activity regardles of what it is puts you at risk then you need to weigh that risk vs doing the activity. A more common medical condition for example would be pregnancy.

Now to speak on the fear of causing cancer. Cancer is the mutation of cells within the body and the danger comes in when those mutated cells begin to grow and multiply. None of these are caused by trauma. In other words there is no way you can beat or pinch or twist body tissue that will cause any cells to mutate or start to grow or invade other cells. So you never have to worry about any bdsm activities causing cancer ... or for that matter any infectious disease (which are caused by viruses or bacteria mostly).

There are some medical risk involved most of them minor such as bruises and abrassions. However there is the possiblity of circulation problems if done for too long or too often and nerve damaage again for the same reasons.

Of course just like nearly everything anything is possible so you could potentially face a life threatening nipple clamp incident such as you clamp the nipple too hard get a cut which then becomes infected. You ignore it so that gangreen sets in but you can't get to a hospital in time so that the gangreen travels through your blood spreading to your brain thus killing you and as you lie on the floor of your appartment rictus sets in and you are nibbled on by a rat, giving the rat a rare form of rabies, this rat then is caught outside by a cat who gets into a fight with a dog on the street this dog, who because of a scratch by the cat who caught the rat is now also infected by this new strain of super rabies, is then adopted by the president. The dog goes mad and bites the president who dies from a hyper-sensitivity to the new superstrain of rabies, which passes the presidency on to the vice president who is in over his head and because of the extreme stress goes nuts and launches several nuclear strikes wiping out millions of people. Unlikely Yes. But Possible.

This is a serious question. Can whipping clamping etc.. of breasts cause serious health risks like cancer or anything like that? I read something on another thread so thought I had better get to the bottom of this!! So.... tell me what you know and then I will tell Mistress.... cough... ugh...
