The next morning I got up early, had a shower, did my hair, got dressed, put on my makeup. Checked myself in the big mirror in the living and headed for breakfast at the hotel.

A glass of orange juice, croissant and coffee. Read my notes for the meeting over a few times. Was nervous. Actually nervous as hell. Looked at my watch. It read 9.30. Meeting was starting at 10. Headed for the meeting room. Door was unlocked, but not open yet. Went in. Checked to see everything was as I had asked for. It was. Went back to the door. Opened both doors.

Greeted those invited to the meeting as they arrived. They could see by my nametag who I was. Shook hands with them. Pointed them to the table where the nametag blanks were. Asked them to put only their first name on it using the black pen and put it where others could see it.

Was in total shock when one of the girls I had seen having sex in the apartment across the lane the night before, the dominant one, came up and told me her name was Samantha.

I went into double shock, as I had talked to her hundreds of times on the phone. She was the company representative for Chicago. She went around to all the stationary and office supply stores, took their orders for the different paper our company produced, then phoned it in, followed up by a fax order. Was told she was very smart. That she had been considered for the job that I now had.

Was beautiful to boot. Eyes that pierced you when they looked into yours. She sure did that to me.

I stumbled for words. She just smiled. Went and got a nametag.

I turned so I could see where she was going to sit. My feeling of where that would be was correct. Right at the table facing the speaker stand. My knees went weak.

At 10 o'clock closed the doors. Strode to the small stage on which stood the speaker stand. Stepped up onto it.  Walked the short distance to the speaker stand.

Turned and faced the invited guests. They were all women, which made me happy, all except for one of them, maybe.

Introduced myself. Got a nice round of applause. Gave a brief outline about what the meeting was going to be all about that day.

The following four days would be the same type of meeting, but just different guests, or so I thought.

Spoke till 11. Took a coffee break. Went about speaking to different people. Felt eyes on me all the time. Would take a quick look. Was right. Caught Samantha looking my way.

Wondered what she was saying to the other women she was talking to, as saw some of them looking my way too.

Broke for lunch at 12.30 for an hour. Sought out some women who I thought I would be comfortable having lunch with. Then found out one of them had invited Samantha to join us.

Thoughts that maybe some of these women had been Samantha's lovers ran through my head.

I became somewhat envious, as many of them would ask her questions and not me. Being professional as she was, she would ask me if her answer to the questions were right. I nodded yes with a smile. She damn well knew she was right. She was playing a game with me and I was letting it happen.
