It had been two weeks since Jackie had met Amy at the theater. She often thought of that brief but explosive encounter and very much wanted to explore the relationship further. She was very much taken with Amy and sensed that underneath the somewhat shy demeanor lurked a sensuous and passionate soul just waiting to be unleashed. They had talked over the phone several times and had met for lunch a couple of times but their busy schedules had precluded any extended private time until now. It was early in the morning and Jackie was anxious to get started; partly to escape the oppressive heat of the day and partly to be with Amy again. Hurriedly she packed a bag and dressed then headed out the door. Driving across town Jackie wondered what the weekend would hold. She had reserved a cabin in a remote mountain area about two hours drive from the city. They would have three days all to themselves with no interruptions or intrusions. She was very much looking forward to the time away, and she was looking forward to more of sweet Amy. Pulling up in front of Amy’s house she honked the horn and waited. Soon Amy came out and locked the door and bounded down the sidewalk to Jackie’s waiting car. She tossed her suitcase in the back and with a mischievous grin another small bag. When Jackie asked what that was for she just winked and told her that she would find out soon enough. Needless to say, Jackie was curious, intrigued and excited. Amy hopped in the car and Jackie pulled away from the curb. The miles melted away as desert gave way to scrublands then dense forest as they climbed into the waiting mountains. They talked and laughed excitedly, almost like a couple of schoolgirls starting out on an adventure. Amy’s emerald eyes sparkled with excitement and mischief. Jackie smiled and thought to herself that it was going to be a fabulous weekend. Soon the wide, straight road gave way to a narrow winding ribbon of pavement; they were getting close. Jackie pulled in to a country store and they got out and went in. While Amy was collecting food and drinks to sustain them for the weekend, Jackie was talking to the clerk. She collected the key and directions to the cabin. Amy paid for the supplies and they got back on the road. About five minutes further they turned down a country lane with tall forest lining both sides. Another ten minutes and they were there. The cabin was small and rustic. A large stone fireplace dominated one wall and a kitchen and sitting area occupied the opposite side. A rough hewn stair way led up to a loft where there was a king-size bed. A small bath with a shower was tucked into one corner. Out the back door was a large deck with a hot tub, a large antique bathtub with ball and claw feet, a sauna and an open air shower. The dense forest enclosed the cabin in complete privacy. Finally, Jackie caught Amy by the hand and drew her close. Holding Amy tightly for a long moment Jackie gazed into her emerald eyes then kissed her. Their lips met and their tongues explored the moist recesses of their mouths. Breaking the kiss Jackie said: “I’ve wanted to do that since the first time we met.” Amy just sighed and put her head on Jackie’s shoulder, her soft blond hair spilling over in contrast to |
