The flirting had been going on a while now. Teasing comments, pregnant glances, casual caresses… We had met about two months ago, at a mutual friend's party, and became instant friends, but always, there was the electricity. Not avoided, but not quite addressed either. Just… there. We both knew it had to erupt soon. The glances had been getting steamier, the conversations bolder. It was bound to happen. Tonight we planned to hang out and watch a movie at my place. She showed up with her choice of movie, a sappy drama I had seen before and enjoyed. She looked delicious and cozy in her sweatpants, tee shirt, and scarf. Just the way I loved her. I gave her a quick peck hello and we headed to the kitchen for some hot cocoa. We munched on cookies while the milk heated up, giggling and making somewhat of a mess, both of us sugar high and slightly overtired. She dropped a napkin and jumped off the counter she was perched on to pick it up, playfully biting my leg on her way up. I yelped and bit her arm, quite firmly, in return. We laughed like we were high, and finished up with the cocoa. Friendly, light, very comfortable… and yet, that tension. She put the mugs down on the coffee table and got comfortable on the couch while I popped the movie in, got the remote, and dimmed the light. I then jumped onto the couch as well, pulled the throw blanket over both of us, and tucked my legs around hers. We sipped our hot chocolate as the movie began, leaning back comfortably. Suddenly, as if a switch had been flipped, something changed. The electricity changed. I knew she felt it too, as her body tensed somewhat and she stirred. Neither of us said anything, but a moment later, I felt her softly lay her head on my shoulder. That was it. My heart leaped. There was no longer any tension, this was no longer a game… This was affection. And for reasons I couldn’t explain, I felt it. Strongly. I slowly brushed a finger over her jaw, and lifted her face to face me. We looked into each other’s eyes and held the gaze. No teasing, no flirting, no smirking. It was raw. The feelings we had both been feeling from the start emanated clearly. And slowly, so slowly, we leaned in to kiss. As her lips pressed to mine, my eyes closed, a soft sigh escaping me. She was so soft, so sweet, and oh god she was beautiful. When our tongues met, she moaned softly, igniting a fire in me. I kissed her more passionately, the taste of her femininity mixed with the chocolate making me lightheaded. Without breaking the kiss, I leaned her back onto the couch, one hand now tangled in her hair, the other caressing her face and neck. When her head hit the couch, I pulled back to make eye contact again, and gauge her reaction. She looked at me with hooded eyes, her teeth grazing her bottom lip, her face flushed. I was amazed at her beauty, and as she smiled at me gently, I knew it was ok to go on. Leaning in as if to kiss her again, I instead grasped her hair slowly and firmly, and turned her face to the side. I grazed her earlobe with my teeth, causing her body to immediately begin wiggling beneath me. I smiled and pressed my body firmly down onto hers, |
