My eyes getting heavy Slumber sneaks in. Thoughts of the day Roll throught my mind. I try to get them out Imagine putting each In it's own little box. Storing it For the next day. I toss and turn My thoughts They won't leave And let me be. What I have to do What I did What I want to do. To be touched And kissed. Feel little spurts Of hot breath Against my ear In a whisper "I love you." But it's dark Everyone is asleep Except me. Longing to feel Tickling fingers Down my sides. Another spurt of hot breath Against my lips "You are beautiful in the moonlight." Why can't I just fall asleep? My eyes burning. My fingers stroke my body Trying to coax Ease my mind Concentraing on how good I'm making myself feel. I ease my body and with a few deep breaths Slumber finaly Sneeks in again taking over me Lightly brushing over my eyelids Shutting them softly As the blanket of tension Lifts from my body Like soft silk. |
