You spy something moving in the grass

You run towards it happily

Thinking it might be cupid with his bow

To let his arrow of love help to find true love

But as suddenly as a appears it’s gone

You look and look all around

But still nothing

Not even cupid is found

Then you stop and listen carefully

You hear off in the distance that same sound

You run towards it like a moth to light

Wanting to be you heart’s greatest wish

But then it’s gone again like a dream in the night

You get on your hands and knees

You search again but find nothing

You think is all hope lost for me?

Then suddenly you feel something behind you

Your heart starts to flutter hope it’s cupid

All at once you a strange sensation all over your body

Then you realize who has bitten you

You turn around and confirm your suspicion

Yes it was player snake your heart fells toward your knees

You think my love is a player who will love and leave me

Moving on to another girl only leaving my broken heart in his wake

When you think all is lost hope springs up out of the grass

Your lover god, the man of your dreams like a ray of hope

As you run towards his you think is this a dream

Then you fall into his big strong arms and know this is true love

Player snake slithers back into the grass

Defeated to look for another victim in the grass

To you things seem to get blurry

Like looking into a fog bank

You wake up to your alarm clock gong off

Telling you to get ready for work

As you get ready you say out loud and to yourself

Today is the day I find Mr. Right, my soul mate

 Chasing love...
It's funny how we sit ourselves up. Our need to give and recieve love makes us so vulnerable for the player snake. This is a unisex poem. And you wrote it will.... Montana

 Mmmmm
True to dream life:) Delightful! Here's one for you, Wordlover. My favorite new t-shirt: "I may not be Mrs. Right, but I'll fuck you till she shows up!" Isn't that clever?
