Halley walked up the front steps and rang the bell. He wasn’t expecting her tonight, and she hoped he wasn’t upset with her for coming unannounced. They hadn’t talked for a week now, and she feared he might be angered just by that. He had called her four nights last week. She missed the first call while she was in the shower, the second call she had laid there in bed with the phone vibrating and ringing beside her, the third call she had done the same, and the fourth call she missed because she had been asleep. Since she had purposefully missed half the calls he sent her, she could not honestly tell him it wasn’t her fault.
The door opened. He stood there in jeans and an old t-shirt, his dark hair in disarray on his head. His green eyes held her like a hand at her throat. She looked up at him, her legs barely being held up by her heels. The humid air was suffocating her, and her breath came in short, low gasps. Her little mouth hung askew on her face and her brown eyes were wide in awe of what this man could do to her without as much as a word or touch. To another, she stood there defiantly, legs close together, hands clasped before her. But to Him she was cowering as obviously as the steady movement in her shirt, the shifting of her skirt. She saw his jaw move a little, the muscles rotating under his tan skin. She swallowed and moved her leg a bit, shamefully feeling the sleek wetness between her legs.
She watched his eyes travel over her cotton white shirt, her plaid mini skirt, down her white thigh high stockings. His eyes caressed, licked her, kissed her.
“What do you want?” he asked, his voice like rocks rolling down a rapid waterfall.
“I want you” she whispered, her lips trembling.
“What was that, Halley?” his voice sounded surprised.
“I want you, Sir,” she said louder.
“Really? Is that what you want?” Halley nodded her head.
“I’m sorry, Halley, I just can’t believe that. I wanted you for a very long time and you denied me. Don’t you think it’s only fair that I deny you?”
Halley’s brows furrowed. She could not leave his house unsatisfied. She frowned at him. He walked out to her, his body hardly an inch from hers. He felt her shiver. “If you come in this house, Halley, I’m going to have to punish you,” he whispered. “It’s either you come in this house and accept your punishment or walk away, and I don’t want to ever see you here again.”
Tears rimmed Halley’s eyes. She knew the punishment would be brutal, that he would probably satisfy her only after he broke her. She knew he meant serious business tonight. She also knew that this was why she never answered his calls and why
