It had been a long day for both Ashley and her husband Jordan. Each had hard, stressful jobs and today seemed to be the day they got the worst of it. She lay in bed with her back to the middle in her torn t-shirt and rather ratty looking shorts. Jordan had finished brushing his teeth and was heading back to bed. She couldn’t see him, but heard the soft swish of his silk PJ pants. He crawled in beside her. She turned to face him as they said their goodnights. His face was tired and showed lots of stress. Sleep should come easily for them both tonight. After a simple kiss goodnight, Ashley rolled back over and sighed softly, letting out as much of her cares as she could. Ashley was usually the fidgety one when it came time for bed, but tonight it was Jordan. He tossed and he turned. Fluffed his pillow, straightened the covers, tried everything he could to get comfortable. Finally he settled on his side, facing his wife’s back. He couldn’t tell is she was asleep or not, but doubted it from all the commotion he was making. She breathed calmly there beside him, her body rising and falling with each breath. Her old t-shirt revealed her bare shoulders; her soft skin looked so beautiful in the dim moonlight from the window. He inched closer to his wife, trying hard not to wake her if she was sleeping. Ashley however was not sleeping. She felt his every move. She knew he was getting closer, but was unsure of how close he was until she felt his warm lips on her cool bare shoulder. She let out a low sigh as he kissed a trail of lips up her shoulder and to her collarbone, his lips sucking in the soft flesh of her neck. Her skin smelled of her lavender body wash, her still damp hair of some kind of flower. He breathed in her scent as though he couldn’t get enough of it. She loved the adoration from her husband. Jordan always knew just what Ashley needed; he had a way of sensing her moods. Even though they were both tired and stressed from their long days, neither was mad at the other, just not feeling so talkative. But that was ok, his lips did the talking as they nibbled and sucked lightly on her ear. She gasped a little bit as his hands began to join in. His soft touch startled her; his hands slid up her sides and rested just below her breasts. She made a move to turn and face her husband, but he whispered lightly in her ear, “Baby, you don’t have to move, let me explore.” How could Ashley deny her husband that? She loved his gentle hands, his smooth fingertips exploring her body. She took a deep breath and sighed. “Whatever you want baby.” She relaxed as he kissed skin more and more. She could feel her own arousal mounting as he pressed his own into her.
