up and smiled, replying, “She’s good.” “Well that’s good. You are planning on having a good time tonight?” he asked. “Of course, are you?” “Yeah she might even get stoned!” Conor grinned. “Oh yeah, you don’t smoke weed anymore.” His boss nodded. Before long we were back outside and I was indeed smoking a little weed. I don’t drink, so it’s kind of like my liquid courage. While giggling with a random person, I turned around to realize Conor was gone. I turned back around to face the girl, but she was gone... What the hell? Looking around nervously, not knowing many people at all, I saw that Conor’s boss was within three feet of me. I slowly inched towards him and he welcomed me by putting his arm around my shoulder and dragging me into the conversation he was having. He introduced me to the man whom he was speaking with, and now I felt a little more comfortable, especially because his arm hadn’t left my shoulders. The man walked away and the two of us stood there, me being a little wary of what was happening, but him, drunk as ever. He started making his way around the yard, muttering things to me about Conor, how glad he was that he was working for him and so on. Then he turned to me and looked into my eyes. “But Conor is lucky to have you,” he slurred. “Anyone would die to have a girl like you... Even if it was only for a night.” When he said this, I blushed, unsure of how to reply or even how to take what he was saying. I could tell by his eyes what he meant, but if he was certain, then, wow... I had no idea how to react to that. I gathered up my courage... “What’s that supposed to mean?” “Well Nicholyn, I’m drunk. I don’t need to hide things from you. I want you. I love the fact that you come around... because of Conor. I like to look at you... fuck... I love looking at you. Sometimes I think about you but I know it’s bad.” “Not bad...” I blushed. This wasn’t quite what I expected, where was he trying to take this? He put his hand on my hip, as I nervously looked around for signs of Conor, or his wife. “You don’t think it’s bad that I want you? You’re my employee’s wife... girl... whatever,” he mumbled. “I just don’t think now is the time to talk about this. What if Conor or Marie sees?” I asked, still studying our surroundings. “They won’t. Conor is off getting more food and ice. Marie left an hour ago.” He grinned. He took me by the hand and led me inside; I followed, feeling a strange twinge in my pants that was beginning to signify what I was expecting. We came to a closed door and he looked deeply into my eyes. “I can see the way you look at me, Nicholyn... I know you want this as much as I do.” I didn’t say anything; instead I charged forward, grabbed his waist and kissed him. I felt him blindly searching for the doorknob. When he found it, he fell backwards into the room. It didn’t take away from the heat of the moment; I was on top of him now, on the floor, kissing him profoundly.
