It felt like ages since Katherine had seen Amy but in reality, it had been less than two months. Despite being completely different in looks and personalities, they’d been great friends at university and ended up sharing a house when they both started their first jobs. While Amy had turned to graphic design and the arts, becoming quite a good artist, Katherine’s path had veered more towards management. Then after a couple of years, Katherine’s job had sadly involved her moving away from the area and now their previously almost daily meetings had changed to infrequent nights out and weekends at each others flats. Katherine’s group of friends still talked about her previous, almost legendary antics but now they were becoming few and far between. She had a great relationship with her boyfriend and intended it to last, but they had both agreed that life was too short for regrets and fun was to be had at every opportunity. They were each to free to see who they wanted and do what they liked, so long as no-one got hurt. He knew about most of her past exploits and hearing about her new ones always turned him on, leading to some of the best sex that she’d ever had. In contrast, Amy seemed to be with a different guy each time Katherine talked to her. None of them lasted for more than a week or two, some barely making it for a whole day, before she got bored and moved onto the next. With her looks, she didn’t have any difficulty picking up a new boyfriend, she just seemed to be looking for something that no-one had been able to give her yet. Katherine’s boyfriend was working away this weekend so she’d called Amy up and suggested a long weekend together. Amy had jumped at the chance of seeing her old friend again but said she had to go into work on Monday to finish some important report. Katherine had already taken a couple of days off and planned to spend Monday doing some totally unnecessary shopping before returning home on Tuesday. The two girls had spent Saturday catching up and shopping before deciding to go out on Sunday night. Amy had to call into work to check all was ready for her on Monday so Katherine had arranged to meet her in the local pub later. As always, Katherine had got to the pub early and had already fended off a few of the local Romeos while she was waiting. She was sat nursing her second rum and coke when Amy finally turned up half an hour late. Katherine heard the comments from the men around her and turned her head to watch her friend as she walked over. Bright blue eyes sparkled in a face that could only ever be described as ‘cute’, framed by soft blonde hair falling to her shoulders, curling under as it reached them. Katherine’s eyes followed it down, drawn to a lot of cleavage that she knew was being helped considerably by a very good push up bra. Much to Amy’s annoyance, she had never been more than a modest ‘B’ cup but made every effort to emphasise what she had. Her stomach was flat and firm under her short, halter necked summer dress, due to her almost obsessive fitness regime. The dress flared out slightly as it fell, barely covering her pert ass.
