We thought we should give you a chance to comment on them.” She shifted nervously on the seat. “What sort of rumors?” she asked. “You’ve been distracting the players again, haven’t you?” accused the coach. She looked down and twisted the hem of her skirt between her fingers. “I don’t know what you mean,” she temporized. Both men frowned. “I think you know exactly what I mean.” Coach Wildman leaned forward slightly. “Why don’t you lift up your skirt for us, young lady?” She gasped and froze. Did he just say what she thought he did? He watched her closely. “I guess it’s true, then, isn’t it?” asked Dean Wilder. “You’re not wearing any panties under that little skirt of yours, are you?” She twisted now in the seat.
