1.You must be over the age of 18 to visit the Lusty Library and its forums. We do not have a children's section here at the Library, so don't even think about it. Caldecott, Dr. Seuss, Lemony Snicket, and others are elsewhere on the internet. NOT HERE.

2. There will be no stories, posts, or pics of a sexually explicit nature that contain anyone under the age of 18. There will be no posts containing pics of bestiality either. The Lusty Librarian is very adamant about this and takes any offenses quite to heart. We recommend that you not anger the Lusty Librarian.

3. No posting of private and/or personal information please. That goes for you and everyone you may know. To do so would be backhanded and in poor taste and we highly suggest that you refrain from such postings. This isn't the sixth grade, people. We are all adults here. Anyone not falling into that category, see rule number one.

4. There will be no threats on the Lusty Library website of any kind. This website is not here as a means to air your personal vendettas. It is here to provide good, well written, sexy stories and also to provide a forum in which people can chat amongst themselves about things that interest them. Threats are not interesting. Don't do it.

5. We at the Lusty Library very much like to peruse the internet the same way you do. There are many wonderful sites out there. However, to attempt to promote any other site in the Library forums will not be tolerated. The same goes for goods and services. Our forums are not classified ads so do not treat them as such.

6. If you use a link in your personal signature that is fine and glorious provided it is not an advertisement or a promotional link. I'm sure the world would be very interested to click on a link in your signature if it were to lead them to your witty, yet revealing blog or your hearts and flowers home page. There are no circumstances in which you should link to adult pay sites or anything with annoying ads, pop ups, or viruses. That is just bad form. And don't think you can slip these things in under the Lusty Librarian's nose. She'll find out. She always finds out.

7. If you are having trouble thinking of a suitable username for yourself, consult the internet, read a book, watch a movie, etc. There are several inspiring things out there to give you an interesting handle. Using a URL for your username, though, is simply boring and unoriginal. It is also Not Allowed.

8. The Lusty Library reserves the right to put a cap on your posts if we decide that you are flooding the forum purposefully with useless postings just for your own amusement or to some other diabolical end.

9. Audio on the forum is not prohibited unless it plays without giving it permission first. A person needs to have the option of whether or not they would like to hear your particular bit of audio rather than being inundated with it at a perhaps inappropriate time. Remember, folks, there are people looking at this website at times they maybe shouldn't and getting them busted because you had to put up an automatic audio bit is just bad karma. We don't like things like that here.

10. The Lusty Library forum is separated into different categories, much the same as our stories. Now, we would not post a Gay/College story in the Lesbian/Romantic category any more than we would expect you to mix up your categories while posting on the forum. General Discussion topics go under the General Discussion category and BDSM talk goes under BDSM talk, etc. It's really very simple and hardly bears mentioning. There are many important things to do in a day, moving your improperly posted posts for you should not have to be one of them.

11. If you have poster's remorse and do not like what you have said, want to amend your words a bit, or realize that you were just plain wrong (in the days of google there are no excuses not have your facts straight), you are more than welcome to edit your own posts. Do not ask us to do it for you. As previously mentioned, we have far better things to do.

12. By viewing and submitting on this site, you are certifying that you are at least 18 years old and that viewing such content is legal in your community. The Lusty Library shall not be liable for any damages suffered resulting from the submission of your work to this site; furthermore, The Lusty Library shall not be held responsible for any damages resulting from your use of this site including viewing, modification, submission, copying, distribution and downloading of any site material. In no event shall The Lusty Library be liable to you for any indirect, punitive, special, exemplary, incidental and consequential damage (including loss of business, revenue, profits, use, data or other economic advantage) however it arises, whether for breach of contract or in tort, even if The Lusty Library has been previously advised of the possibility of such damage.

The Lusty Librarian and her minions believe fully in the rights protected by the First Amendment. Unless rules are specifically broken, we will not intervene. The board is provided for you to have discussions, have questions answered, and so on and is not meant to be a source of strife. We are not baby-sitters and you are not babies. Treat others as you want them to treat you and all will be well. For you submissives out there, this might get a little tricky. Not everyone wants to be treated that way. But I'm sure you can all find some happy medium out there. Enjoy the forums; have fun with it. Just remember, the Lusty Librarian is watching.
