In a few months she would turn forty, and she wasn’t ready to face that just yet. Where had the time gone? How could she have lived half her life already with so little to show for it? Well at least when it came to her personal life she had nothing to show. Her professional life was quite the opposite. If there was one thing she could be proud of it was her career. You don’t get to be top in your field by not devoting your life to it. But now, as she looked around her Manhattan penthouse, she felt lonelier than she had ever felt in her life. For a brief moment she considered dressing up and hitting the town, but why put the effort in that. These days all she wanted to do was go home and sit in front of the tv. It didn’t matter what day of the week it was. She had long since stopped going on dates and her friends had stopped trying to set her up on them. The next morning Sarah woke up with a burst of energy. She had just had the most erotic dream. Her panties were still moist from it. Her fingers traveled between her thighs. Is someone there?” “Hello. I got your card from a friend of mine,” Sarah hoped she didn’t sound ridiculous. What if this was the wrong guy? Her knees were shaking. Her palms were sweaty. So far this was not a pleasant experience. “Great, well what can I do for you today?” he asked in a pleasantly seductive voice. “Well I was wondering if you were available this morning.” The words flew out of her mouth so quickly she wasn’t sure if she had actually said them. “As a matter of fact I am. What’s the address?” Sarah rattled off her address and it was done; he was on his way. She couldn’t believe it. She raced around her apartment trying to get everything presentable for the hustler.
